I am the Executive Pastor of Faith Chapel Christian Center, a non-denominational church located in Birmingham, AL.

This is my personal blog. The content on this site primarily focuses on two categories: personal development and spiritual growth. However, I also write occasionally on leadership, productivity, and technology.

My goal is to provide you with a resource filled with content to challenge your thinking, motivate you to action, and evaluate your leadership and the results that you are getting. If you are someone who has a desire to grow and develop, this blog is for you.

Generally, I will post three times a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. To make sure that you never miss out on a new post that I publish, I encourage you to subscribe via email. You can also check my blog’s archive for a list of posts that I have written previously.

I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and I am the first of two children to my parents, Pastors Michael D. and Kennetha J. Moore. Growing up as a preacher’s kid, I was exposed to church and God at an early age and received Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of seven.

After graduating from high school in 2000 and from undergrad in 2005, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I worked for Wrigley’s selling gum, candy, and mints. It was a sweet gig at the time. ☺ In October of 2005, I received the call to go into full-time ministry and began working for Faith Chapel in April 2006.

In 2008, I began graduate school, which allowed me to travel both to Japan and London as a part of my studies. In 2011, I graduated with my MBA and in the fall of 2012, I was married to my wife and friend Michelle.

There are a number of things I enjoy in life. I love to read, write, and talk. I talk in great detail, sometimes in too much detail. I enjoy college football and I happen to be a Los Angeles Lakers fan. Last but not least I am a big Saturday Night Live junkie. I hope to visit a live taping soon in my near future!
